| Make sure the edge of the bridge slants with the peak on the fret side. |

| Thread the string through the nut. |

| Rotate the hole on the first post to a one O'clock position. |

| Thread the string down through the hole on the post. |
|

| Wrap the string back around the post and draw it up between you and the string. |

|
| Lap the string over itself and tuck it down through the space next to the wood. |
|
|
| Draw the string down tight so that it pulls against the incoming string. |
|
|
| Turn the post so the hole turns counter clockwise. |
|
|
| Keep turning the post so the incoming string overlaps over the part you pull. |

|
| Check that the string is locked by overlapping itself. This prevents slipping. |
