Montessori World Educational Institute
Dr. Palmer is an earth and climate scientist. She earned her PhD in Earth and Planetary
Sciences at the University of California, Davis in 2020 focusing her work on
understanding climate and oceanographic change during the last 10,000
years. Dr. Palmer is currently a University of California, Merced Chancellor's
Postdoctoral Fellow and she will serve as an American Association for the
Advancement of Science Congressional Science Fellow in 2022-2023.
In this presentation, Dr. Hannah Palmer talks about climate change, how to discern fact from fiction regarding this important topic, and how to help children understand how our earth is changing.
